So last project for last class we were studying knitwear and from the word go I was dead set on knitting a burka. Anyway for a project that I thought would go all so swimmingly from the start it seemed to struggle and in need of a big push. Anyway, anyway, anyway thanking the Hail Marys for giving me a push in the direction of Alexandra Boulat whos work is not only perfect for the way I wanted to take my project but also was completely inspiring and beautiful both in front and behind the lens. So I'm getting all deep (it's 3 a.m and I'm delerious from food poisoning and sewing) let's back well and truly away from it and focus on the fact Ellie looks insane and that Ebay saved my life in the knick of time. (Who knew it would be able to provide me a full Burka and be delivered in 3 days!)
