travel // alcudia photo diary.

Alot of stress, little time together and lack of sun lead the boy & I to book a improptu trip to his apartment in Alcudia at the end of August. It was near enough thirty four degrees every day, meaning after almost forty eight hours with little to no sleep we collapsed in to the first sun loungers we could find.

August 2014 // Alcudia, Majorca

Inevitably falling asleep with no sunscreen in the direct sunlight left our skin pretty scorched and Dave spent the remainder of the holiday hiding away in the shade. I was pretty fortunate in the fact everything but my neck turned in to tan, which left me with some pretty beautiful tan lines -(not). Alcudia Old Town is beautiful I could of got lost in the potted terracotta, pinky hues and endless plams forever.

Six days was the perfect amount of time to get lost in someone elses world for.

The holiday offered all that I had hoped for sun, sea, eating, reading, snoozing and it was the perfect get away for just the two of us. Taking hand luggage only was also a god send, as many of you may know I am not a fan of make up and not being allowed to take any liquids through security means being stripped back to basics for a while. This allowed my skin to breathe and be kissed by the salty sea air. I also always tend to over pack so it allowed me to really consider what I was packing which as always mainly consisted of too many books and shoes and never enough clothes.

I Wore //

Sunglasses // Illesteva x Zac Posen

I Read //

Lunar Park - Bret Easton Ellis
Grow Up - Ben Brooks
Submarine - Joe Dunthorne

All of which I would highly recommend, I would also highly recommend never watching 'Submarine' the movie, especially not after reading the book. Ever.
