morocco // marrakech may polaroids.

Morocco // Marrakech - May 2013

Having always wanted to go to Morocco and having needed a escape, in May I combined the two and did exactly that. For needing a escape and a total break I can definitely class my experience as anything other than relaxing ... Except for the times when I was burning by the pool in places I never thought imaginable and having a giggle at Gareth Gates half drowning in the pool. The main square was filled with snake charmers (my complete and utter worst nightmare) the medina and the souks were stressful and full of hassle, diving in them to hide from the snakes was anything but a good idea. Throughout the trip the only part I found any bit relaxing was our visit to the Jardin Majorelle (Yves Saint Laurent Gardens) of which were mesmerizing and beautiful, the perfect place for escape. Having always wanted to go I am glad I went, it certainly was an experience but I won't be back in a hurry, well at least not to that part of Morocco that's for sure.

TAKE ME BACK TO SILVER LAKE

Everybody is stepping off a plane stateside whilst I write this in bed job hunting with the flu, to say I am completely jealous would be a total understatement. I've been missing California BIG TIME lately, my return couldn't come any quicker.

Apologies for my total slackness in posting the past couple of months, been going through some shit and sorting a lot of shit out. Keep your eyes peeled as I will be launching my new project VERY VERY soon.

Till then can somebody offer me a job so I can get back to London? It's a total ball ache searching endlessly to no avail and being trapped in this small town syndrome.

FEBRUARY.

February was slow and cold like the process of getting these pictures developed. February was full of loosing cameras, loss of memory and falling in love with passionfruit martinis. February was full of living out of sweats, living off vodka, cookies and turning into a total carbzilla. February is long over and March will be up shortly.
