A last minute date swap has left me with an unexpected and rather annoying day off. As I am in the transition period of moving and not a single thing I need to encourage my days productivity can act as an available resource. So instead I have decided to spend the day procrastinating between the sheets and my duvet (with snippets of work I can get on with in the inbetween). So far I have successfully found my dream home (as above) and got lost in many tropical shorelines - I don't think it helps that I am currently supposed to be residing for a long week or two in Mombassa.

I can't believe it's quite been two years since I was lucky enough to visit Hong Kong. Forgive me for how old the next few posts are but I am feeling nostalgic and a recent message from an old friend has got me longing for some endless sun.

inspiration // in dreams, i dream of you.

Situations have occurred that have lead my path back to it's original roots. I packed up my bags, left London and headed back to the coast. One decision of giving up an old dream to establish and further a future dream has encouraged everything else to fall in place. Now we are doing up the apartment and waiting the arrival of the puppy of my dreams, Cash.

A while ago I was gifted bundles of beautiful fabrics dating back to the sixties and seventies from my great auntie who I had promised I would make a dress of two from. I thought it was sad that the fabric had never seen more than a second or two of sunshine in its lifetime, so I whipped out my shears  and got to work.
